It will help documentary filmmakers discover the best ways to tell their stories and highlight the importance of showcasing the authenticity of Africa and Africans. It is requested that filmmakers bring a story idea to the masterclass so we can unravel its potential together.

However, as a Festival we’ve noticed that most African filmmakers do know how to captivate audiences with their trailers and more often than not, the trailers either give away the entire plot or offer nothing at all.
This practical class will equip film editors with the skills and knowledge they need to edit film trailers and other content forms so they have the maximum punch that draws audiences to their films.
